So this bathing suit was inspired by a swimsuit I saw at Hot Topic. It was super cute! However it was a bikini, and I don't wear bikinis. I feel weird enough as it is in non-bikini style swimsuits; if you know me at all you will know that I almost always have a jacket on, and if I wear shorts I wear them with tights, so bathing suits, in general, are a bit out of my comfort zone, but I do on very rare occasions go swimming, and when I do I would like to have a cute yet more modest swimsuit, so that's why I made this! 

The swimsuit pattern was created by a combination of drafting and draping. As for the bottoms I liked them and felt like they covered up enough, so I made mine exactly the same (or as close to it as I could) to the original design.
